Hey guys, this is Kevin at JazTime.com and today we are going to be looking at a brand new Rolex Datejust II with a two-tone yellow gold and stainless steel, 41 millimeters with an ivory index dial. This is the reference model number is 116333. OK, so I'll be letting you know we'll be doing an unboxing. We'll go over the case, the bracelet, also the clasp. I'll show you this watch on my wrist, and I'll let you know where you can find this watch for the lowest possible price. OK, so I'm buying this watch brand new, of course, get this box in a newer Star Rolex box which is a little bit smaller than the older Rolex boxes. At the top, there's a little pocket you can pull down here that will contain booklets of information and also your warranty card that will have the serial number and the model number and the date of purchase. You'll find those in the box up here. All right, so let's move on to the watch. All right, so this watch is everyone's modern-day Rolex Datejust at 41 millimeters. It's the largest Datejust that Rolex has to offer. It's roughly the same size as many of the Rolex sports watches. Rolex came out with this watch back in 2009 as a new line of the 41-millimeter Datejust watches. Many of the Rolex competitors had already come out with some larger models of their watches that were really popular, and Rolex understood that there is a market for larger watches. Quite frankly, people were getting bigger and bigger these days and need a watch that looks good on their wrist. So, the Rolex Datejust II, along with the Rolex Deepsea 44-millimeter seemed to be the watches that a lot of guys are looking at currently. As an everyday-wear watch, this watch is perfect for someone who is dressed up or semi-casual. As you can see, the bezel isn't domed. It's nice and flat so it fits under a suit cuff and very nicely if you were to wear it to work. And this watch that we're looking at, like I said, it is a two-tone yellow gold and stainless steel. It is on a oyster bracelet, and it has a very nice ivory index dial. As we can see, the date window is located at the 3:00 position below the cyclops lens which is on top of the crystal itself has a little hump. And the hour markers and the hour markers and our minute hands have a luminescence as you can see indicated by the white. They will glow in the dark for up to eight hours, and the hour markers are also outlined with an 18-caret yellow gold. So, you have the nice contrast between the ivory, that ivory color versus the gold which is very, very nice. Along with that, it also actually makes it much easier, much easier to read. And you'll notice that the bezel is also an 18-caret yellow gold. It's fluted, as you can see, if I just tilt to the left and right a little bit. It has a very nice shine to it. And in order to balance the look of that watch. It's balanced, look at the watch, as you can see, this 18-caret yellow gold contrast. That white dial, again, very, very nice. It's really beautiful to look at, and you were to be driving around in your car, and the sun hits this nicely, it's almost like a disco show in your car, on the roof of your car, while you're driving. The bezel really gleams when it gets hit by the sunlight. OK, so the back of the case, the very simple oyster case with fluted around the edges, as you can see there. The movement that runs this watch is a 3136 movement which offers a date function, Parachrom hairspring, shock absorbers and a 48-hour power reserve. OK, so let's move on to the bracelet. As you can see, it's a very, very beautiful bracelet. This is a heavy oyster bracelet, and it has a very, very nice 18-caret yellow gold mirror polish in the center, or a high polish, very reflective and very shiny against the light as you can see. The outer parts of the links have a satin finish which is kind of brushed steel look to it which contrasts with that 18-caret high polish. It's very nice. The clasp, let's move on to the clasp. It's a very, the clasp is a very simple deployment buckle as you can see there. It just takes one pull. Snaps in, snaps off very easy. Good for everyday wear. It has a Rolex name engraved on the clasp itself right there and this also comes with the easy-link function. So, let's just say it's a very hot day and your wrist expands a little bit, you can actually adjust the bracelet five millimeters four to five millimeters back. All you have to do is just pop this out right here. Just push it forward. It goes in five millimeters, hot day. You can pull it back out for five millimeters outwards. All right, so let's go ahead and put this on my, show you guys this watch on my wrist. Wow, that is a very beautiful watch. That gold really contrasts with the ivory very, very nicely. Another neat thing about this feature is that the bracelet, since it's a heavy-style bracelet, the center links are filled, so it prevents the stretching over the stretching of the bracelet over time as you wear it. So, pretty neat, very durable. OK, so this watch is an excellent choice if you're looking to get a modern update on one of the best-selling models that Rolex has to offer.
