Today, I'm gonna be reviewing the Audemars Piguet, reference 26401ro.oo.a002ca.02. It's a Royal Oak Offshore, self-winding chronograph, rose gold with a ceramic bezel, and rubber strap. I'm gonna talk to you guys about the bezel, the dial, the case, the movement, try it on, and give you my thoughts. So let's dive right in. Now, you'll notice here that it's a pretty large watch. If you look at my hand, it's actually one of the largest that AP makes, at least in their standard edition watches, their not limited ones. And the case comes in at 44 millimeters, that's from my thumb to my index finger. Now it actually also has a very, quite a thick case. Now, it is a Offshore. So it is 14.4 millimeters from my thumb to my index finger. I actually measured it earlier with some calipers and it came out to 14.5, plus/minus air. And it has a water resistance of a hundred meters, okay. Now the bezel, it uses a ceramic bezel, so it's scratch resistant. And if you look at here, it's kinda sandwiched in, there's a rubber gasket. What actually happens, it's a ceramic bezel, it's put here. It's held in by these white gold screws, that actually goes into the other side, all right. You ever wonder how you can have a six sided screw? Well, it's actually not a screw, it's actually decorative. The screw actually comes in from the backside, okay, you see how it screws in this way? Right, well, that's how it screws in. Okay, so anyhow, that's the bezel, and I told you about the case thickness. Just by comparison, a Rolex Datejust is 12 millimeters, whereas a Deepsea is about 14, either 14 or 15. This one's 14.4, so it's right up there with the thickness of a Rolex DeepSea. Now let's talk about the dial here. I'm gonna put it in the right light so that you can see it. It has a black dial with "Mega Tapisserie" pattern, black counters, pink gold applied hour markers, and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating, black inner bezel. Okay, what does all that mean? Well, let's look at the dial, it has a "Mega Tapisserie", which it has like a... If you look at it, it looks kind of like 3D, right. It has like a waffle dial, they call it a "Mega Tapisserie", and it actually really gives it like this 3D wallpaper look, I think it's really cool. You'd probably do too at home if you can look at it, if you can see what I'm seeing here. Okay, and these hour markers here are actually luminescent. So I'm gonna go ahead and try to show you what that looks like with some lume, okay, that's what it looked like at night. Can you see that? Okay, it kinda glows in the dark, you see that? So at least you can see the watch at nighttime. Anyhow, moving on, let's talk about the movement here now. The movement is really where you know, an AP, Audemars Piguet, really shines. And I can't show you everything about this movement, but I did take a loop to it and looked at it really carefully. It's using kind of actually like one of their basic movements for Offshores, which is the 3126 movement. Okay, so it has, the caliber is a 3126, and it has 365 parts with a power reserve of 50 hours. I mean, it's kind of a crazy movement. And now I've seen the 3126 with a gold rotor on the other 42 millimeter Offshores. And this one is, if I'm not mistaken, it's actually gold. But it's colored, so it's black or something like that. You guys can look it up on the AP website, you know, but what I wanted to bring your attention to is like, if you look at the craftsmanship on the movement, just everything is perfect. You know, if you look at even like, when you look at the jewels, even the surrounds that hold the jewel in place are polished, you know. If you look at the overall finish, if you can look at the balance wheel, you know. I mean, that's a pretty awesome balance wheel. I mean, if you've seen other balance wheels and you compare it, this one looks really, really awesome. You know, it has a... Yeah, it just looks really awesome. I mean, you kinda need a loop to look at it, but anyhow. So I wanna show you something else here, which is the hallmarkings right here. You can't really see it without a loop, for you guys at home. There's another one right here. They're so tiny. I mean, you really have to have a loop to see it. It's right where my thumb is pointing, my right thumb, right there. It's really tiny, but it's done to perfection, you know. At any rate you can trust me, it's really awesome. Anyhow, so now let's talk about the bracelet. The bracelet is using a black rubber strap with a 18 carat, pink gold buckle, also known as a tang buckle. And again, it has the awesome hallmarks here, if you look at it. You can't really see each one in detail, but you can see that there's some kinda hallmark there, there and there. And you know, it's just another attention to detail that AP really put together.
